Student Support Services Health Promotions has provided FREE School-Based health screenings for the students of MSCS that are mandated by the state of TN. Our department provided free health screenings for 37,851 students in 201 schools!!! Screenings will be provided for Pre-K, K, 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th & 9th grade classes as follows: Vision, Hearing, Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, and Scoliosis (6 grade girls and 8th grade boys only). Principals will receive their school’s individual health report card in the inner office mail. Attached is the districts overall health report card. June is Men’s Health Awareness month. Please join us in spreading awareness through our 9th annual men’s health event June 6th from 11am-1pm located at the BOE in the COE Auditorium.
