The 3rd Grade Appeal window is now open. A parent or legal guardian of an eligible student who achieved the performance level of “Approaching” on the ELA portion of the 3rd grade TCAP test may submit an appeal.
Ground 1 Appeal:
• The student received a score between the 40th-49th percentile on the spring administration of the TN-URS (aimswebPlus);
• The principal agrees to develop an academic remediation plan for the student;
o Requires signature from principal.
• The student’s principal and ELA teacher provide a unanimous recommendation for promotion to 4th grade; and
o Requires signature from ELA teacher and principal.
• The school agrees to provide high-dosage, low-ratio tutoring services to the student for the entirety of fourth grade.
o Requires signature from principal.
Ground 2 Appeal:
• A catastrophic situation occurred within 60 calendar days leading up to the TCAP test that impacted the 3rd grade student’s ability to perform on the test.

During the summer, we will begin our rollover process for the start of the 25-26 school year. As a result, dashboards will temporarily stop refreshing on June 30th and will resume in August. New users and employees with new school assignments during that time will not have access until rollover is complete.

The Summer Learning Academy Dashboard has updated visuals in the Overview and Rising 4th Grade Attendance/Enrollment Report and is showing updated data.
The Grades 3 and 4 Promotional Pathways Report is available in the MSCS Compass: Literacy Commitment Dashboard.
Note: 24-25 TCAP data in the SLA and Literacy Commitment dashboards is embargoed and should not be shared publicly. It should only be used for parent communication regarding promotional decisions.
