MSCS Compass Updates and New Releases

During the summer, we will begin our rollover process for the start of the 25-26 school year. As a result, dashboards will temporarily stop refreshing on June 30th and will resume in August. New users and employees with new school assignments during that time will not have access until rollover is complete.

----------------------------

New Releases:

The Summer Learning Academy Dashboard has updated visuals in the Overview and Rising 4th Grade Attendance/Enrollment Report and is showing updated data.

  • These reports can be used to track trends in enrollment and attendance rates at the site and student level.
  • The data will be refreshed daily at 12:00 PM. Site Administrators, Site Clerks, Mentors and Principals will have access. See the user guides here.

The Grades 3 and 4 Promotional Pathways Report is available in the MSCS Compass: Literacy Commitment Dashboard.

  • This report provides school leaders with data related to tracking the promotional status of students who are in grades 3 and 4 according to Tennessee state law TCA 49 6 3115 and board policy 5013.
  • For grade 3 students, you can see appeals data (ground applied for, the decision and eligibility for Ground 1). For grade 4 students, you can see if parent conference information (if they are required and the decision).
  • The data will be refreshed daily at 6:00 AM. Elementary school administrators have access to this report. See the user guide here.

Note: 24-25 TCAP data in the SLA and Literacy Commitment dashboards is embargoed and should not be shared publicly. It should only be used for parent communication regarding promotional decisions.

Review Your School’s Extracurricular Offerings in the New Web Application AfterSchoolMemphis by July 3rd

We’re excited to share a new mobile-friendly application designed to help families easily discover the extracurricular activities offered at our schools. This tool is part of our effort to make information more accessible while highlighting the many ways students can get involved beyond the classroom.

We’ve included the current list of extracurricular offerings for your school, and we ask that you please review this information to ensure it is accurate and up to date at www.scsk12.org/afterschoolmemphis.

If any edits are needed — including a preference to list an email contact instead of a phone number — please reply to this email http://www.scsk12.org/afterschoolmemphis/ with your updates by July 3rd.

Thank you for being a valuable part of this districtwide solution for families. Your support helps promote the amazing programs happening at your school and encourages more students to engage and grow through extracurricular involvement.
