The Q3 Report Card period ends Friday, March 13th. Q3 Report Cards should be printed and handed to students to take home, Wednesday, April 1st. Report Cards are no longer required to be mailed. Parents will continue to be able to view the grades in the Parent Portal. The Q3 Report Card Checklist will be available here, including the Middle & High Schools Q3 Process Overview for Finalizing Grades and Grading Flowchart documents. This document outlines the teacher and school office staff’s responsibilities for verifying and finalizing Q3 Report Card grades. • As part of the monthly MSCS Compass Updates newsletter, the DAIM team has started publishing a new Empowering Your Data Story report to promote Power BI usage. This report highlights schools that go above and beyond in their use of Power BI and the MSCS Compass. Winners for the month of January are in the ​February newsletter​, published on 2/27. ​You can find more information about this campaign here.​
   
• The February edition of the MSCS Compass Monthly Newsletter was published on 2/27 with a new format. All subsequent editions, with the monthly Empowering Your Data Story report, will be sent out on the normal schedule of the first Wednesday of every month. ​You can find it and all archived editions here.​
   

Report Updates:

• Performance Matters performance and participation reports are in the Student Assessment dashboard. You can use these reports to track participation and results for the Spring window, starting next week. ​Click here to see the user guides.​
   
• Updated data in the Digital Citizenship Completion Report is now populating. ​Click here for the user guide.​
   
• Updated ASVAB data for 2025-2026 is available in the High School Progress and Ready Graduates dashboards. ​Click here to see the High School Progress user guides.​ ​And click here to see the Ready Graduates user guide.​
   
• Advanced Course Scheduling has been updated to include new student subgroup filtering in all reports and some reports have been modified to consolidate data tables. The “All Data” page has been renamed Raw Data, to keep consistent with other dashboards. A District Quick Report for aggregated metrics has been added. • The MSCS Compass Usage Dashboard is now available. This dashboard can be used to see how often dashboards and reports within the MSCS Compass are being used by schools and district staff. ​Click here for the user guide.​
   
• The Tutoring: i-Ready Growth Tracking Report has been updated and is now available. ​Click here to see the user guide.​
