Biology Micro- Learning for Principals and Regional Superintendents

Building Principals and Regional Superintendents This 20-minute microlearning experience is designed to support Building Principals and Regional Superintendents in understanding and strengthening the alignment of literacy in science, phenomena-driven instruction, and inquiry-based learning. The session also emphasizes support for all learners and highlights how the CISD instructional model is reflected within the online McGraw-Hill platform and its alignment to the Tennessee Science Standards for Biology and all other high school science courses.

This recorded voiceover session may be utilized during PLC meetings to deepen understanding of these instructional components and to address questions that you or your staff may not have initially identified. If you have additional questions after viewing the session, please contact the Curriculum and Instruction Science Manager:

Ms. Terilyn McChriston, Ed.S K–12 Manager, Science Curriculum & Instruction Email: mcchristontj@scsk12.org

I look forward to partnering with you as we work together to strengthen high-quality science instruction for all students.
