Students Devices for Summer School & SLA
  • Students attending Summer School or Summer Learning Academy (SLA) should keep their assigned district device and charger over the summer, provided the device is in working condition and properly documented in PowerSchool.
  • School Device Support (SDS) staff and school teams are responsible for verifying devices, updating PowerSchool records, resolving fines/fees, distributing devices by May 21, 2026, and maintaining accurate tracking records.
  • Parents must complete and sign the Student Device Agreement Form, and students must bring a copy to Summer School registration in order to receive or retain a device.
  • Most device holds and fines are being removed by the IT Department, except for certain middle school 500W devices and newer high school HP devices; however, unresolved fees must still be addressed before device distribution.
  • Students are responsible for returning devices and chargers to their assigned Home School at the start of the 2026–27 school year (or immediately after Summer School for graduating seniors or students leaving the district), and replacement devices during the summer can only be issued by the Home School.
