Vision Preparing leaders for students! The Office of Leadership Development strives to serve and advance Shelby County Schools and the citizens of Memphis by being the State of Tennessee’s premier knowledge, research, and development epicenter for Transformational and Turn-Around Leaders.
Announcements & Updates
1.The 2021 Midsouth Leadership Symposium is a TDOE TASL approved event for the 2020-2021 TASL Cycle. TASL credit hours can be uploaded to TNCompass by the educator in the amount of 6, 12, or 28 hours following the event. SCS participants will receive credit hours via PLZ by July 15th and should use their personal PLZ transcript as evidence of attendance. 2. Office of Equity Professional Learnings-presented by Dr. Michael Lowe
This will be for all newly hired teachers and Equity Champions in SCS. This includes the quarterly work that is ongoing for all District leaders, principals, PLC coaches, counselors, and teachers.
