On October 19, Superintendent Ray shared a proposed plan for returning to in-person learning in January. As stated continuously throughout the pandemic, we are committed to being flexible as we base our decisions on science and the latest guidance from health officials. We honored our commitment to providing options to our families, as we reopened the process for selecting virtual or in-person learning October 21 - November 6. Additionally, we are continuing to follow the Health Department’s safety protocols and make every effort to ensure our buildings are safe to resume in-person learning.

Currently, we are planning for grades Pre-K - 5 and students with disabilities or in self-contained classrooms within these grade bands to return first in early January. Grades 6-12 would return in mid-January.

We have developed the resources below to ensure families are fully informed about our preparations for the proposed reopening of schools in January.
