Taking AP or Honors Next School Year? Get a Head Start at 2021 SCS Summer Scholars Camps on the University of Memphis Campus! APPLY BY JUNE 14!

Students who plan to take Advanced Placement (AP) and Honors courses in high school in 2021-22 can get a head start by signing up for the Summer Scholars Camp. This camp will prepare students for the exciting challenges ahead in these college level courses. They’ll interact with peers who are planning to take the same courses and get a chance to learn valuable lessons from our knowledgeable AP and Honors teachers. The camp takes place on the University of Memphis campus, and lunch and snacks are provided for free. Space is limited, so apply soon!

ENTERING GRADES 11-12:

This camp is open to SCS students who will be entering grades 11-12 and enrolling in AP courses during the 2021-22 school year. There is no cost for students who are registered for an SCS-managed school. The cost for charter school students and non-SCS students is $100.

  • APPLICATIONS DUE: June 14
  • TIME: Monday - Thursday, 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:30 a.m. - noon
  • LOCATION: University of Memphis (Parents will receive confirmation & dropoff/parking info after registering)
