Shelby County Schools in partnership with Shelby Farms offers a Farm-to-Fork Fellowship (F2FF) that is a program that pays youth to grow the food that goes into their school lunches, bringing students closer to their food and equipping them with life skills that they can take back to their communities.

Farm-to-Fork fellows (grades 9-12) work 5 hours per week during the school year and 20 hours per week during the summer months.

This is more than a program about learning to grow something. It gives youth a meaningful, hands-on experience that teaches valuable lessons that can't always be learned from a book.

Farm to Fork Fellows are selected through a very competitive application process, and new fellows are taken on as funding becomes available. We are currently accepting applications.
