Introduction DDI 101– The What and the Why of DDIM - Ambitious, transformational leadership requires a school leader to set a vision for high quality instruction, create systems to support the vision and most importantly, create a system to support data driven instruction. To introduce the DDI cycle, participants will review a case study, identify key leadership practices, assess their own stage of implementing key leadership practices and begin creating an action plan for implementing, sustaining, and monitoring this continuous improvement cycle.

DDI Assessment - Today’s rigorous standards require teachers to use data on a daily basis to inform instruction. These daily or formative assessments can be viewed as a tool for understanding where students are succeeding and where they need support. This module will focus on why and how leaders and teachers can use informal, formative assessments to more regularly assess student needs.
Time: 8:00 am-11:00am or 12:00pm -3:00pm
Date: January (TBD)
Presenters: Dr. Gray & SCS Practitioners
DDI Analysis and Action Planning, Observing for Corrective Instruction - Once assessments have been administered and data collected, they need to be 1) analyzed for incorrect responses, 2) reviewed to determine student misconceptions, and 3) monitored on a regular basis for specific touch points. This module will provide the participant a deep dive into why preforming an analysis is important to the school leaders and what types of analysis to conduct for student achievement.
