It’s that time of the year again! Shelby County Schools, Division of Nutrition Services will once again sponsor a Summer Food Service Program from June 1, 2014 to July 25, 2014.
The Summer Food Service Program was created to ensure that children in lower-income areas continue to receive healthy, well-balanced meals during the summer, when they do not have access to school breakfast or lunch. There are no charges for meals to students 18 years or younger
If you plan to participate in the Summer Food Service Program, you must have a representative from your organization attend a Mandatory Training Session. The training will take place at the Shelby County Schools Central Nutrition Center, 3176 Jackson Ave.
For more information contact the Divison of Nutrition Services at (901) 416-5550.
