Overton High Violinist Selected to Memphis Youth Symphony Program Student Concerto Program

An Overton High School senior has been chosen to lead the 2017 Memphis Youth Symphony Program Student Concerto.

Journey Hogan, Overton high school senior and Concertmaster of the string orchestra and the 2017 All-West Senior Symphony Orchestra, was chosen to perform in their annual student concerto program this spring. Miss Hogan will perform the sweeping first movement of Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole for Violin and Orchestra. The concert will take place on May 7th at 7:00 pm at St. Benedict/ Auburndale Auditoriu

More than 200 students from schools in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas participate in the Memphis Youth Symphony Orchestra.
