What: Overton Ovation to Perform at Mid-South Fair

Why: Overton Ovation, a music ensemble from Overton High School, will be performing on the Main Stage at this year’s Mid-South Fair. The ensemble represents the only commercial music student ensemble of its kind in Shelby County. Under the direction of Joey Valdez, this dynamic group has already performed at numerous events and venues throughout the Mid-South, including the West Tennessee Special Education Conference, the Memphis Hard Rock Café, and FedEx Forum as the Memphis Grizzlies House Band.
