What: 2017 Career Ready! Summer Internship Program

When: June 5, 2017 - July 14, 2017

Why: Interested sophomores, juniors and seniors are invited to apply for a 2017 Career Ready! Summer Internship

These summer internships provide students with authentic experiences that will be invaluable to their high school, college, and career paths. To the extent possible, students will be given an opportunity to work in the area of their career interests.

To be considered for a 2017 Career Ready! Summer Internship, students are required to have a minimum 2016-17 GPA of 2.0, a 90% or higher attendance rate, and at least satisfactory conduct (maximum of 2 Ns and no U’s). Interested students should complete the attached application, print and mail or hand deliver to Erma Carter, 160 S. Hollywood, Room 261, Memphis, TN 38112, along with:

• two letters of recommendation
• a current resume
• a current report card or transcript
• a non-expired copy of their driver’s license or state ID
• a copy of their Social Security Card

Students will not be considered for an internship if any of the above items are missing or incomplete.  The deadline for returning the application with all attachments is Friday, March 24, 2017.  No late applications will be accepted.
