Whitehaven High School football coach Rodney Saulsberry has been named the Tennessee Titans High School Coach of the Year.

On Saturday, Saulsberry led the Tigers the 6A state championship to close out an undefeated 15-0 2016 season.

The award comes with a $2,000 grant for the team and a trip to the 2017 NFL Pro Bowl in Orlando.  Saulsberry is now in the running for the Don Shula NFL High School Coach of the Year.

This is the second time Saulsberry has received the award. He was named Titans High School Coach of the Year in 2012.
