HR Black History Weekly Trivia
Teacher Weekly (Every Wednesday in February)
Employees will test their knowledge of Black History in Education in one of the District's weekly publications.

 

National African-American Read-In
Feb. 15, 5:30- 7 p.m.
The Four Way Grill, 998 Mississippi Blvd.
In alignment with the District's Literacy Commitment, the Department of Family & Community Engagement will host families for the annual read-along at a historic eatery with deep roots in the South Memphis Community.

 

Fine Arts Contest
"Show Your Voice for Black History as American History"
Submissions Are Due Tuesday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m.
Students are invited to share their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Final selections will be announced Feb. 24.
