The SCS Office of Academics is pleased to announce Mrs. Divalyn Gordon has been named Executive Director of Early Childhood Programs.

She joins the team with over two decades in Pre-K–12 public education including 8 years leading the Ridgeway Early Learning Center. She was also one of the first Pre-K classroom educators under the Tennessee Voluntary Pre-K grant in 2001. 

Ms. Gordon has a BS in Early Childhood and several Master degrees in Education designations.  Mrs. Gordon led a Reward School program at Raleigh Bartlett Meadows before joining Early Childhood to provide her unique insights into how Pre-K/Head Start can support our most vulnerable children to become school-ready.
