TERESA HALL FRANKLIN, EDS, LPC-MHSP, NCC, C.A.M.F. Teresa Hall Franklin, Ed.S., is an accomplished Licensed Professional Counselor & National Certified Counselor. Mrs. Franklin began her career in the mental health field as a Certified Anger Management Facilitator for adolescents and adults in 2002. She earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology with Honors from LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, TN, and a Master of Science Degree in Instruction and Curriculum Leadership and Education Specialist Degree in Counseling from the University of Memphis. She is currently completing a dissertation for the Doctor of Behavioral Health Program at Freed-Hardeman University. Her original works are preserved at the Library of Congress, reflecting her commitment to education, empowerment, and lasting impact. As a preceptor for UTHSC and West Cancer Center, she provides clinical training for psychiatric nurse practitioner students and fellows. Since 2015, she has served as Adjunct Faculty at LeMoyne-Owen College for all Psychology-related courses. Her experience includes being General Studies Department Chair at National College and the founder of Transitional Anger Management Services, where she provides seminars and workshops on mental health wellness and a marriage and relationship seminar, “Relationship Rehab” to couples and churches. Transitional Anger Management Services has been featured in local newspapers, recognized as an expert in the field for all local news stations, and appeared on the hit reality show Wife Swap as an Anger Management Specialist for ABC Network. Teresa coordinated the 1st Women's Day Summit for Temple of Deliverance Church of God in Christ, is involved in special projects with Promise Land Church of Memphis, St. Paul MB Church in Olive Branch, MS., and Little Saints Academy Preschool, Olive Branch, MS. At her home church, Hope Presbyterian, Teresa serves as the Ruling Elder for the Caring Ministry, women's bible studies leader, and small group leader for Anger Management in the Recovery & Support Ministry. She continues to inspire and teach others how to transition into a more positive, peaceful, and productive state of being.
