Belle Forest Elementary School recently hosted a heartwarming event, “Morning with Dads,” featuring a special guest, District 4 Board Member Tamarques D. Porter. The event was designed to underscore the significance of active fatherhood and family engagement in a child’s life.

Board Member Porter delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the profound impact that fathers can have on their children’s development and overall well-being. He encouraged fathers to actively participate in their children’s lives, fostering strong family bonds and creating a supportive environment. By spending quality time with their children, fathers can help them develop essential life skills and values.

As Board Member Porter stated, “As fathers, we have the opportunity to teach our children valuable lessons through their education – like perseverance, discipline, and the importance of setting goals. These lessons stick with them far beyond the classroom."
