Project STAND students actively engage in career readiness events that provide valuable industry exposure. Through tours, they
visit companies, observe operations, and gain insights into applying classroom concepts. For example, students explored
construction and learned about apprenticeship programs. Other key experiences include tours of healthcare, public safety,
STEM, hospitality, and aviation careers.
These diverse events empower students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences to succeed in a range of fields. Looking
ahead, students will participate in additional training and exploration opportunities, including NCRC certification, forklift training,
rock climbing, and internships.
