The Department of Enrollment, Registration, and Attendance (ERA)

The Department of Enrollment, Registration, and Attendance (ERA) is a vital part of the MSCS system. We specialize in providing high-quality customer service to our constituents in alignment with the S.E.E.D. Vision, which is committed to empowering principals, supporting parents, and enriching students every day.

We set the foundation for effective, equitable, and compliant student enrollment procedures, registration practices, and attendance policies that meet the requirements of local, state, and federal agencies.

In doing so, our team offers the following services to K-12 students:

• Centralized withdrawals
• General choice transfers
• Foreign Exchange with Bilingual Support
• Grade placements
• Data-driven school support that is designed to equip schools with the tools they need to reduce chronic absenteeism rates, improve daily attendance, increase enrollment, and engage parents in student registration.
• Addressing custody concerns and homeschool education.
• Regularly monitoring and working with district staff to ensure district-wide enrollment, registration, and attendance data is in compliance that drives district funding.
