TRUE BLUE Memphis, a student-run, created, and managed mentoring program that encourages elementary-aged children to discover and embrace their strengths through leadership, character-building, and community-based activities aimed at broadening student awareness of the importance of community involvement. TRUE BLUE Memphis provides an array of different experiences focused on teaching practical life lessons while exposing students to the world around them. Through these experiences, TRUE BLUE Memphis hopes students will become more aware of the communities in which they live and the importance of becoming invested citizens that promote others to do the same. TRUE BLUE Memphis, facilitated by Germantown High School students, meets every other Friday from 3:00-3:45.
