Family Skate Night

WOW!!!! Willow Oaks' students granted viewers two performances during Family Skate night. The first performance was a selection played by the school's orchestra. The second performance was a choreographed dance selection. Both performances were unbelievable!


Discovery Theater Exploration

During a visit to the Pink Palace Museum, students were able to participate in a program that utilizes object-based demonstrations and activities to teach science and social studies concepts.

Paw Patrol

The heroic pups of Paw Patrol talked to students about the importance working together to protect the community.

The zSpace Learning Experience


The zSpace Mobile Classroom Tour made a stop at Willow Oaks Elementary. zSpace offers the

     ultimate virtual reality learning experience that improves student outcomes and increases student

Dakota from 5-02 Wins 1st Place in the Science Fair for Grades 3-5!

Ms. Willis' Class Wins 1st Place in the K-2 Category

Other winners in the Science Fair include in the Grades 3-5 category are as follows: Dakota 1st place, Jose 2nd place, and 3rd place was a tie between Anya Harper, and Charlton & Skylar (group). In grades kk-2 category, Mrs. Willis' class wins 1st place, Ms. Kreitlin wins 2nd place, and Ms. Parrish's class came in 3rd place. Congratulations to all the winners, and thanks to all the participants for doing a fantastic job!

Willow Oaks was the host school for Read for the Record on October 19! This year’s book, Quackers by Liz Wong, is a wonderful story that follows a kitten who grows up believing he is a duck. Please go to for more information.

Walking School Bus

Coaches Monroe and Powers organized our Walking School Bus. Studies show that fewer children are walking and biking to school, and more children are at risk of becoming overweight. A walking school bus is a group of children walking to school with one or more adults.
