Title IA Narrative Summary (Basic Allocation and Stimulus (ARRA) Summary)
The Title IA & IN basic funding for FY10 has increased $1.1 Million with an additional $3.8 Million in Stimulus Funds (ARRA). The increase in funding will result in our ability to provide additional supplemental support to our Title I Schools. Specifically, this will allow us to add 3 new Title I Schools for FY10 (Highland Oaks Elementary, Highland Oaks Middle, & Lowrance Elementary). We will also focus on additional Professional Development and support of our Teachers. The addition of Title I Facilitators will also help us remain in Federal NCLB Compliance and support our schools with implementation of NAEP Standards during the 2009-2010 and the increase in NCLB/AYP Standards during 2010-2011. Additionally, technology upgrades in our current and new Title I schools will be accomplished.

Title IIA

This Title area is allocated for the Professional Development of Teachers, Principals, Paraprofessionals, and other Administrators. All of these SCS employees are eligible to participate in activities funded by this Title area. Title IIA provides 7 Exemplary Teachers to help support our New Teachers in SCS.

Title IID

This Title area is allocated for Enhancing Education through Technology. These funds are used to provide stipends to Teachers that are Technology Coaches in all of our schools.
