Evaluation of employees is intended to help realistically consider the employee and his/her performance on the job to which he/she has been assigned. Every effort should be made to make it both meaningful and positive to the employee. One should take full advantage of the evaluation process to either commend or recommend improvements in the employee's work habits.

A completed evaluation will become a part of the employee's personnel file.
