The Board declares its desire to work in close cooperation and harmony with the State Board of Education and the State Department of Education. The superintendent is instructed to establish a cooperative relationship with these agencies to facilitate the mission of the Shelby County school system.
In addition to its interest in being informed of the availability of federal education funds, the Board should be fully informed concerning any outside services or publications beneficial to our school district.
