It shall be the policy of the Shelby County School Board to cooperate to the maximum possible extent with other school divisions, and with other local, state and regional agencies and organizations in the solution of educational problems of common concern. The Board establishes these broad goals:
to encourage liaison with other educational and non-educational agencies;
to supply educational services to and/or share with other educational and non-educational agencies.
These goals shall extend to such areas as research, exchange of information and data, coordination of curriculum, and coordination of school calendars and activities.
The superintendent shall monitor and evaluate outside agencies for the Board.
