INDEPENDENT EVALUATIONS FOR DISABLING CONDITIONS



If a student suspected of having a disabling condition is evaluated by Shelby County Board of Education personnel and the parents disagree with the results and request an independent evaluation, the Board of Education will consider paying the independent evaluator's fee, not to exceed the following maximum amounts:
Psychological Evaluation $300.00
Speech/Language Evaluation $150.00
Occupational Therapy Evaluation $125.00
Physical Therapy Evaluation $125.00
Sensory Integration Evaluation $300.00
Mobility Orientation Evaluation $125.00
Audiological Evaluation $95.00
Assistive Technology Evaluation $60.00 per hr.
Functional Assessment $300.00


These maximum amounts will be adjusted periodically, as needed.
