Ellendale Elementary Administrators

The mission of the faculty and staff of Ellendale Elementary School is to enable our students to function as productive members of society by fostering optimal student development and achievement.

Collaborative efforts produced the following beliefs:

Opportunities are provided for all students to achieve success to their fullest potential in a safe and comfortable learning environment.
A variety of teaching strategies and assessments are implemented to accommodate the varied learning styles of all students.
All students are viewed as valued and unique individuals with their own emotional, social, intellectual, and physical needs.
Consistent and productive communication between the administration, faculty, staff, students, and parents assists students in reaching their optimal potential.
Ongoing and current technology experiences allow student ownership of the tools necessary to function in our ever-changing technological society.
Students are provided with the necessary support and encouragement to enhance positive self-esteem.
Developmentally appropriate and challenging activities are chosen to positively impact and enhance education.
Learning facilities, resources, and opportunities are continually modified to meet the needs of all students.
Extensive resources and services are offered to meet the individual needs of exceptional students.
Wellness programs promote physical fitness, cooperative play, and good sportsmanship.
Students are afforded opportunities to develop a cultural awareness and appreciation of the fine arts.
