| In order to provide
for the safe transportation and comfort of all bus students, the size
of backpacks must be limited to one which can be easily handled by the
student. Backpacks that are too large and heavy for the students to pick
up and/or hold in their laps during the bus ride will not be allowed.
These large backpacks interfere with assigned bus seating, movement inside
the bus, and pose a safety risk. In case of an emergency, passengers must
be able to evacuate through the rear bus exit.
At Ellendale, we prefer no rolling backpacks. These are often difficult
for students to handle. |
