the spread of communicable diseases at school.
A student should be kept at home when the following signs or
symptoms are present:

of 101F or higher; especially
if accompanied by other symptoms such as vomiting, sore throat,
diarrhea, headache, stiff neck, or undiagnosed rash.
Respiratory Symptoms - Difficulty or rapid

high-pitched croupy or whooping sound after he/she coughs;
child is unable to rest comfortably due to continuous cough.)
Diarrhea - An increased number of abnormally loose stools
in the previous 24 hours. Observe the child for symptoms such
as fever, abdominal pain, or vomiting.

of the scalp or body.

Your cooperation in helping to maintain a healthy school environment
for all students is appreciated. Children presenting any of
the signs or symptoms above should remain at home until
symptom-free for 24 hours. Our purpose is to protect all students, while
preventing your child from further illness that may occur
if she/he returns to school while having a decreased resistance
to infections.
