A WebQuest designed to give students an insight into the culture,
history, economy, government, tourism, and geography of Bavaria in
Southern Germany.

Building Bridges

This WebQuest is a real-world application for geometry. Students will
research information about bridge construction and geometric design.
They will create a blueprint and model of a bridge.

Investigating and Analyzing the Causes of Frog Deformities

This is a practice in gathering information, forming a hypothesis,
analyzing data, and making an oral presentation. The content is made of
actual ongoing research in determining the cause(s) of high numbers of
frog deformities in Minnesota.

Linking to Hot Careers: How to Get that Job You Never See in the Newspapers

This WebQuest will help you chart your course directly to that great job
you "never see in the newspaper" through self-assessment checks,
Internet job searching, resumé and cover letter writing and Internet
posting, application completion, and interview preparation. The
necessary tools are here for you. Your task is to determine what career
is best for you and get it!

An exploration of the relationship of a book of fiction to the real
world of Harper Lee - world characterized by a few unique individuals
standing against overwhelming intolerance.
 

The Crucible

A WebQuest exploring the history of Salem, the McCarthy hearnings and the Hollywood blacklists, the "Red Scare," historical inaccuracies in Miller's play, and witchcraft fears in the 16th and 17th centuries.

School Violence

This WebQuest is designed to introduce the students to using the
computer and group work. There is a lot of interesting information on
the Internet that will help the students write a research paper.

Western Europe Geography

You and your partner have just been appointed Joint Chief Ministers of Tourism for a selected country in Western Europe. Your job is to attract foreigners, especially wealthy Americans, to your nation to spend money and visit your country's sites. Of course, you must be an expert on your country and its assets. You have an advertising budget that allows you to run a one-minute television commercial and up to an eight-page newspaper supplement. What will they be?
