Notice of Schoolwide Title I Program Eligibility

Millington Central High School qualifies to receive federal funds under the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, Title I Part A for this 2007 - 2008 school year.

Our school is eligible for the following:

Schoolwide Title I Program: Schools may consolidate and use funds under Title I together with federal, state, and local funds, MCHS utilizes:

• Federal free and reduced lunch program
• Tennessee State Vocational Perkins funds
• Federal ORBIT grant funds
• Tennessee State Department of Education ECU funding for tutorial sessions

Parents are invited to be a key participant on the decision making team to determine the academic needs and proper expenditure of Title I funds. You will also be informed of your students progress and the status of the school in making progress toward helping “all students” meet high academic standards. We look forward to your attendance at school meetings when we will discuss the development, revision and implementation of our Schoolwide Program Plan
