Message from Mr. Joy

Welcome to Germantown Middle School, an institution that strives to provide optimum educational opportunities for every student.  In our effort to achieve this goal, we understand the importance of teacher – student relationships. We also understand the role teachers have in making certain we look at the whole child, including his or her social, physical, intellectual and emotional needs.

At Germantown Middle, we believe that each student is a unique person with dignity and worth.  Knowing this helps us to be successful in teaching our students.  We realize that our success comes when our actions speak acceptance rather than just tolerance.

Our main goal is to meet the needs of our students while encouraging them to reach their maximum potential.  As effective teachers we know that in order to win the loyalty of students, we must show concern about them both collectively and individually.  The administration and staff of Germantown Middle School strives for respect, excellence, dignity and pride for all.
