We Believe:

• The learning environment must be safe, stimulating, and nurturing.

• All students are unique; each has the ability to learn and to develop his or her strengths and talents.

• The decision making process is built on partnerships of students, parents, teachers, administration, and the community who share the responsibility for student success.

• The learning environment will be in compliance with all district, state, and federal policies.

• Individual learning styles will be supported by the use of a variety of instructional strategies, available technologies, and a team approach to learning.

• Assessment should be a continuous cycle, encompassing a variety of forms to reach various learning styles.

• Individual student needs will be supported through a school-wide focus of enhancing multi-cultural awareness within the Schilling Farms community.

• The entire community plays an integral role in developing productive citizens and lifelong learners.
