Shelby County Schools has designed curriculum and standards for the librarians to use within the SCS Library Media Centers. The standards were created by a group of SCS Librarians, who worked during the summer to develop these standards for use with students in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade. Standards and benchmarks were developed using the Information Literacy Standards from the American Library Association.
