Here is the flight plan:
- First stop... Visit Shakespeare's Drama
Island. Learn about Shakespeare's life and works.
- Assignment all passengers: See Ms. B' Hotlist and study the
Shakespeare site for his life and works. Write an essay about
Shakespeare's education and his early acting experience.
- Analyze the segments on The Tempest and Julius Caesar;
write a paragraph explaining the differences in what is said about
each.
- See your teacher for other interesting things to
do!

- Second stop... Visit Poetry Land. Many
authors can be found there. There are examples of their works and
information about their lives. Try the following authors, then
choose your own.
- Maya Angelou
- e.e. cummings
- Edgar Allen Poe
- Robert Frost
- Assignment all passengers... Write an essay discussing new
things that you have learned about the author.
- Analyze a poem and write your interpretation.
- Choose a favorite poem, interpret it, and
