  1. The JAGUAR is the third largest feline after the tiger and the lion.
  2. A JAGUAR'S body is stocky, compact, and muscular.
  3. JAGUARS live in Mexico, Brazil, Southwestern U.S, Central America, Paraguay, northern Argentina, and Venezuela.
  4. A JAGUAR'S fur varies from yellow to black, characterized by black spots that form rosette of different sizes.
  5. A JAGUAR is supportive of and interacts with other JAGUARS.
  6. A JAGUAR can camouflage in its jungle habitat; this makes the JAGUAR an excellent hunter.
  7. JAGUARS eat small and large prey-often burying their prey after killing it to eat it later.
  8. JAGUARS are great swimmers, climbers, and crawlers.
  9. JAGUARS have an exceptionally powerful bite- biting directly through the skull of prey between the ears to deliver a fatal blow to the brain.
  10. Although young cubs are born blind, JAGUARS are graceful and powerful.
