  • College Planning Guide for High School Students - Brought to you by Maryville University, this guide covers a variety of topics, ranging from college prep information for parents to a breakdown of important resources for students in grades 9-12 as they prepare for their education beyond high school.

  • Student Scholarships  -  A vast collection of scholarships found on the web. Students can get matched with scholarships that fit their profile, gain infomation about careers and salaries, and view video and virtual tours of different careers, universities, and programs.

  • FAFSA - The new 2018-2019 FAFSA (including the ready-to-use IRS Data Retrieval Tool) is here! FYI: Some states and schools have limited funds, so don’t delay! To begin your application, click Start A New FAFSA.
  • AP Credit Policies - AP students can use this site to search AP credit policies of different universities.
  • NCAA Eligibility Center - initial-eligibility academic standards are changing for student-athletes enrolling at an NCAA Division I university on or after August 1, 2016 (this year’s high school sophomore class and younger). A brief summary of the changes can be found here.  Also, check out the Initial-Eligibility Resource Index, a new electronic tool that contains links to the NCAA Eligibiltiy Center's resources and presentations available free of charge.
  • 2017-18 Guide for the College-Bound Student Athlete
  • Tutoring Schedule - Several Cordova High teachers offer before and/or after school tutoring opportunities in a variety of subject areas. Schedules will be posted as they are made available. If there is not a schedule for a particular subject you need help with, check with individual teachers.
  • Selective Service Online Registration - According to the law, all 18 year-old males  (including U.S. citizens living abroad and non-citizen immigrant males 18-25 residing in the U.S.) must register for selective service.  The only young men exempt from registration are non-citizen males who are in the U.S. temporarily as tourists, diplomats and their family members, foreign exchange students, incarcerated or institutionalized men, men on active duty in the Armed Forces, or students at U.S. Military Academies .
