KBMS Clubs



We are a learning and service organization.  We sponsor the gardens out front, we cook, we make crafts, we learn about healthy living, we are raising and training two guinea pigs, we work to beautify the KBMS campus, and we complete monthly service projects.   The 4H Green Team is responsible for completing energy audits around our school.

Purpose: To build leadership skills by volunteering and participating in  community service throughout the school, city, and world.

Student Council

The KBMS Student Council serves to build the leaders of tomorrow by participating in local, state and regional activities with various other student councils. Students partcipate in various activities such as team building skills, community service activities and numerous fund raisers. Come be a part of making a difference!

Junior Leadership Club Thanksgiving Event

Thank you to the Junior Leadership Club for spend part of their Thanksgiving Day feeding the homeless at the Cook Convention Center. Thank you to Robert Corruthers, Ferlicia Brooks, Ms. Tarver, Ms. Vanzile, Ms. Hurd, and Ms. Bivins for helping!

Hispanic Heritage Month 2016

KBMS celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month in a big way this year. Our Fine Arts Department entertained our students during class changes with Hispanic Flavored Pop- Up Music.  Our Art students studied Hispanic artists, and all students learned about different aspects of Hispanic culture during their Intervention classes. Thanks to all students, teachers, and parents who celebrated our Hispanic students! 

KBMS celebro el Mes de Herencia Hispana en una gran manera este mes pasado.  Nuestros estudiantes del departamento de Arte Fino performaron varias canciones Hispanas para nuestros estudiantes.  Tambien, nuestros estudiantes de arte aprendieron sobre los artistas hispanos.  Todos nuestros estudiantes estudiaron varios hechos sobre la culturas hispana en sus clases de Intervencion.  Gracias a todos los estudiantes, los maestros, y los padres que celebraron nuestros estudiantes hispanos!
