"Let Us Lead, by Serving Others"

Peabody Elementary's Beta Club has been doing just that. They have been busy researching, organizing, and implementing service projects that have enriched the lives of our school and community. In November, they volunteered as host and hostesses for the school's first International Carnival. At Christmas, they organized a school wide toy drive and donated the toys to The Memphis Family Shelter. Just last month, they spearheaded a campaign that raised over $1,500 to help support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through Pennies for Patients.  They have two more projects in the works, which includes a TCAP Dance and  delivering TCAP message grams to encourage excellence and excitement during the TCAP test. Beta Club sponsors Rachael Drozinski, Anna Hardin, and Deirdre Jones are proud of the character and leadership skills these students exemplify.
