Mid-South Fair Art Contest Winners, 2010

Laniah, a kindergarten student, won 6th place in the Mid-South Fair Art Contest! Quynton, also a kindergarten student, won 10th place! The winning artworks were paintings inspired by music and the famous artist, Kandinsky. The winners received an award certificate and ribbon. Laniah also received a gift certificate.

Delta Fair Art Contest Winner, 2010

Elijah, one of our kindergarten students, won sixth place in the Delta Fair Art Contest at the Agricenter! The winning artwork was a painting inspired by music and the famous artist, Wassily Kandinsky. The winner received an award certificate, ribbon, and a gift certificate.

Lynn Twins Visit Sherwood! 

Local artists Terry and Jerry Lynn (the Lynn twins) visited Sherwood Elementary to kick off a special writing and art project. We really appreciate their visit as Sherwood promotes academic enrichment through the arts.
