AREAS OFF LIMITS TO STUDENTS
- After arriving at school,
students should not loiter in parking areas. During school hours students
must have an authorized pass signed by an
administrator or a check out slip to return to their automobiles.
- Students
should not be in any room set aside for staff only (teacher work areas,
restrooms or custodial offices).
- At lunchtime all
instructional buildings, with the exception of the library, are off
limits.
- Only the restrooms
in the vocational building are open for student use during their lunch
period.
- Loitering behind
or between buildings, in restrooms, in hallways, and
on stairways is not permitted.
- No students are to be in any
buildings, including gyms, after 2:20 p.m. unless they are under the
direct
supervision of a coach or faculty member participating in a school
activity such as
tutoring, drama, band, ROTC, athletic practice, cheerleading,
etc.
- Students who are
sick may not loiter in a restroom. Illness should be reported to the
nurse/attendance office for parent contact.
- Upperclassmen may
be in the Freshman Academy classroom areas only if
they have an assigned class or have a note from a teacher
or administrator.
- Freshmen should not be in the main building before
or after school.
They may be in the main building only if they have an assigned
class, if they have attendance or main office business, or if they
have a signed
hall pass from a teacher or administrator.
