STUDENT PARKING
Parking permit decals
cost $10.00 and are required for “assigned
student parking” (includes gym, stadium and community center lot).
A parking decal must hang on the vehicle’s rear view mirror with identification
facing forward.
- Students who fail to register
their vehicles may not park in “student
assigned parking areas”. Vehicles may be towed at the owner’s
expense. Students with permits are to park within their assigned parking
space only. Students not parked properly (within lined space) will
be denied parking privileges in designated student parking areas.
- Students
who drive a vehicle to school are to park their vehicle immediately,
secure their needed belongings, and proceed directly to the main
campus. A car may not be used as a locker. Students should not return
to their
vehicle during the school day without written administrator permission.
- Driving
a vehicle to school is a privilege and a responsibility. Students
are expected to arrive on time, properly park their vehicle, and
report to class on time.
- Students who drive
or ride with another student may not leave campus during the school
day without parent permission
and proper check
out.
- The speed limit
in all parking areas is 5 mph. Students are required to operate vehicles
in a courteous and safe manner in parking
lots and on streets through campus. Unsafe operation of vehicles
will result in
loss
of parking permit and /or further discipline action by administration
and campus officer.
- Students parking
in the city lot adjacent to the campus must enter and exit the lot from
Wilkinsville Road only.
- All school rules
and regulations apply in the student parking lot and
street parking areas around campus [this includes all
parking lots].
- All parking areas
[designated student lots, street parking, or the
stadium lot] are unauthorized areas for students from
7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Students
may be in these areas only with written permission from
the administration or our campus law enforcement officers.
- Automobiles
on campus are subject to search at any time.
