Internal Communications

We are the central hub for all employee-facing communications. Various District-wide publications are available to inform all employees, including the Teacher Weekly and District Updates, and targeted employee notifications are sent as needed, such as HR Updates and Central Office Updates. We also coordinate text and phone messages to share important information with employees.

Additionally, our team regularly assists departments with promotional efforts, event support, awareness campaigns and communications strategies for employee-related programs and initiatives.

Any messages intended for mass distribution to employees (print or email) should be submitted to the Communications Department for approval.

Tips for internal communications:

  • Always write with your audience in mind.
  • Write clearly and concisely, and avoid technical language or educational jargon.
  • Be considerate of employees’ time. Always provide ample notice when an action is required or a decision/program/initiative may impact employees.

  • Content: 2-3 Sentences; Attachments/documents shared in PDF format
  • Audience: All Employees
  • Published: Thursdays @ 6:30 a.m.
  • Submissions: Send to [email protected] by 5 p.m. on Tuesdays.
  • Content: 3-4 Sentences; Attachments/documents shared in PDF format
  • Audience: School Leaders
  • Published: Posted Online Here & Emailed to Principals Fridays @ 9 a.m.
  • Submissions: Posted by Each Department by 4 p.m. on Thursdays
