Community Schools: LaRose Elementary

LaRose Elementary celebrated its new designation as a Community School at a ribbon-cutting ceremony on April 11, 2024. The ceremony included the official grand opening of a Family-Community Resource Center that offers job training, a computer lab, a food pantry and access to a washer and dryer. By specifically tailoring such events for families, a sense of inclusivity and belonging is cultivated, establishing a strong foundation for collaborative partnerships between schools and the community they serve.
